You will learn all about the local cacao supply chain and the process it goes through for transforming into world class chocolate in the hands of experts. After your visit, you will begin your travels from Guatemala City to the city of Coban in Alta Verapaz. You will stop for lunch at an orchid sanctuary and will enjoy a scenic drive through landscapes of tropical and clouded forest. The drive will be from 5 to 6 hours. Free evening.

Today you will make your way from Lanquin to the neighboring Semuc Champey Natural Monument. This magical natural wonder is made of a series of turquoise pools, cascading down limestone terraces that have been formed by the Cahabon River. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom of the pools, which are surrounded by lush vegetation and towering mountains. You'll be able to swim in the crystal-clear waters, hike through the surrounding jungle, and enjoy breathtaking views of the area from the viewpoint. After the visit, you'll have the option of going river tubing or exploring the K'anba caves.
